An active person has received a notification in the last 30 days. Your tier adjusts automatically at renewal, with no mid-cycle charges. While more than 3 people are connected, the minimum is the first paid tier. No seats to assign or remove.
Floka is free during rollout. You’ll only be charged if you choose a paid plan.
Questions before you connect
Do I need an admin to set this up?
You can install the GitHub App on your own account. For an org, ask an admin to install it for the repos you use. Your Slack workspace may also require approval to add Floka.
Does my whole team need to use Floka?
No. Once the GitHub and Slack apps are installed, you can use Floka for your own notifications. Your teammates don’t need to sign up.
What am I granting access to?
GitHub: the app requests read access to repository contents, issues, metadata, org members, and your email address, plus read/write access to pull requests. You choose which repos it can access.
Slack: Floka sends PR details and short excerpts from comments and reviews to your DMs. Those excerpts can include code. It asks for permission to open DMs, send messages, and handle its slash command.
Can I choose which notifications I receive?
Yes. Choose individual notification types in your Floka settings. Review requests, comments, reviews, and mentions from bots are off by default. This includes coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex reviewer, and Cursor when they post from GitHub bot accounts.
How do I stop using Floka?
Turn off all notification types in your Floka settings and save your changes.
You can also remove Floka through GitHub and Slack’s app settings. Removing a shared installation affects everyone using it in that account or workspace.
